We can’t rave enough about Talkeetna, Alaska. This town is one of only a few in the area that still embody the frontier spirit with a lively and entertaining community. Talkeetna is home to a variety of events and activities throughout the seasons. It is a hub of artwork, festivities and exploration. In fact, Talkeetna is considered the basecamp for Mt. McKinley (aka. Denali) climbing expeditions.

Visitors are amazed at the variety of shopping, restaurants and frontier adventures Talkeetna has to offer. We are surrounded by flowing rivers, snow-capped mountains, and some of the most enjoyable weather in the region, which makes it perfect for a Denali flightseeing adventure, zip-lining through the treetops or spending some time on the water with a guided fly fishing trip or jet boat adventure. It is magnificent and it’s no wonder so many visitors return again and again!
